OneLabs news
Product news from OneLabs, the makers of One: what changed, why, and what it means for you.
- The One API now shows model status and pauses slow models (2026-10-27): The One developer API lists dozens of named models, shows whether each one is working, and pauses any model that runs slowly until it recovers.
- You can now tell us how One feels, from inside One (2026-10-27): One now has a feedback box: say how it feels, pick a topic, and tell us what to change. Guests can use it too.
- One now calls a site live only when it really is (2026-09-29): One works out where a website really is (built, checked, running privately, deploying, live) and corrects any reply that says live too early.
- One's memory now updates what changed and forgets what is stale (2026-09-29): One's memory now merges repeats, replaces what changes, scopes memories to you, a project or one chat, and lets stale context expire.
- When a tool fails, One now says so (2026-09-29): Every tool One runs now has an honest status: failed, timed out or stopped is never shown as done, and the same email or deploy is not done twice.
- One Code moves to the desktop app (2026-09-29): One Code runs real programs on the computer it is on, so it now lives in the One desktop app rather than on the website.
- Read aloud that tells you what it is really doing (2026-09-28): One's read-aloud now shows Generating, Playing, Paused, Stopped or Failed, matching what the audio is really doing, on the web and on mobile.
- Pictures are now read by the model you chose (2026-09-28): One now sends your picture to the model you picked when it can see, keeps pictures with the conversation, and uploads them at a sensible size.
