How AI memory works, and what One remembers about you
One keeps structured memory: facts about you and your business, preferences, decisions, contacts, and short-lived context such as this week's deadline. It does not pile up, it stays in scope, it fades when it goes stale, and you can see and delete all of it.
It does not pile up
Saying the same thing twice does not create two memories. If you change your mind (a casual tone after a formal one), the new answer replaces the old one, and the old one is kept as history.
It stays in scope
A memory can belong to you, to one project, or to one conversation, so a project's details do not leak into unrelated chats.
It fades
Context and to-dos expire on their own; facts and preferences stay until changed.
It only brings up what fits
For each message One adds a small number of relevant memories, not the whole list.
You stay in control
You can see everything One has kept and delete any of it. Secrets such as passwords and keys are never saved as memories.
